ED 100
Horizontal Storage - up to 8 Flexible Endoscopes
The ED 100 is a drying cabinet for flexible endoscopes that holds them in a horizontal position. The ED 100 dries and stores flexible endoscopes to minimize the risk of contamination and maintain asceptic conditions.
It ensures optimal drying of endoscope channels by blowing compressed air through the luer lock connectors. Filtered air is also blown onto the outside of the endoscopes. This is available as single or double interlocked doors with key locks. There is a capacity of up to 8 endoscopes and each shelf has a solid drip tray to prevent water from dripping from one endoscope onto an endoscope placed on a lower shelf.
Microbiological Integrity
Microorganisms can grow to an unsafe amount within a few hours. Our range of drying cabinets protects reprocessed endoscopes from the risk of contamination by drying them thoroughly and by maintaining microbiological integrity up to 720 hours.

Features
Flexibility
Drying and storage of up to 8 endoscopes in wire baskets and drip trays for each shelf. 8 wire baskets come standard along with 8 CPC connections for the endoscope channels.
Optimal Drying
HEPA H14 filtered air flows across each shelf for an even temperature distibution within the cabinet. There is a dedicated air compressor for dyring the endoscope channels through the CPC connectors.
Configurable Door Opening
Tempered double-glass hinged doors can be configured with right or left opening.
Steelco-branded drying cabinets are designed to comply with the European EN 16442 guidelines on performance, EN ISO 14971, EN 61010-1/2-010, EN IEC 61326-1 and EN 62366 guidelines on safety, and EN 62304 guidelines on software design. They are classified CE medical devices (Regulation 2017/745/EU, MDR).
