Cyberattack on SteelcoBelimed

SteelcoBelimed has been the target of a cyberattack. A criminal hacker group succeeded in penetrating isolated areas of Belimed Infection Control’s IT systems and copying a portion of the company’s data. Other IT systems were not affected at any time and no encryption nor disruption of end customer business took place.

Immediately after the incident came to light, all necessary countermeasures were initiated, the relevant authorities were informed, and a criminal complaint was filed. External IT security experts are assisting with the forensic investigation and further securing the systems. Additional protective measures have been implemented.

SteelcoBelimed Infection Control’s business operations and ability to deliver products are unaffected.
