Endoscope Reprocessing Traceability Workflow
SD Ares is a complete software application designed to track endoscopes.
The software architecture is based on different control points that each endoscope must pass to be processed in order to move to the next area.
When endoscopes move to the next area in the endoscopy department, the system checks whether all previous steps have been successfully undertaken.
Full Traceability
SD Ares provides operators with a comprehensive overview of the use of the endoscope.
Through desktop or mobile devices, it is possible to check-in the endoscopes at the point of use. SD Ares also links all the cycle’s relevant information of the endoscope reprocessor to the endoscope ID, and collects:
- Operator, date and time of use registration
- Clinic/endoscopy room where the instrument is used
- Nosological and patient identification data
- Doctor information
