EPW 100 S
Semi-Automatic Device Supporting Manual Cleaning
EPW 100 S is an automated system assisting manual cleaning. Thanks to the leak test automatization and the washing and rinsing of endoscope channels, it supports operators and reduces the risk of injury and errors. Equipped with a user-friendly HMI, the device allows to identify instruments and operators via a hands-free process through barcode reader or RFID systems.
EPW 100 S is compatible with OCS (One-Time Connection System), a single connection system shared by pre-washing, washing/disinfection, and drying/storage devices – drastically reducing the risk of errors and endoscope manipulation throughout the process.
This model provides a record of the cycle that can be printed, transferred to a USB stick, or integrated into the SD Ares traceability system. The device allows to totally immerse endoscopes according to most European country guidelines.
RFID Hands-Free Process
Our entire endoscope reprocessing platform allows a “hands-free” process thanks to the RFID technology installed in pre-wash units, AERs, and drying cabinets.
Traceable identification of operators and scopes is made safe with the touchless use of bracelets or badges. No need to touch a device’s control panel anymore. This reduces potential cross-contamination risks and enhances nurses’ and patients’ safety.
Complete Endoscope Reprocessing Traceability
Our whole range of endoscope reprocessing devices is compatible with SD Ares, the traceability software specially developed for the endoscope reprocessing process. SD Ares software is designed to meet the endoscopy room’s operational requirements by promptly tracking scopes and providing information to maintain safety, efficiency, and high production.
Sinks and Furniture for Manual Cleaning
Different-sized sinks and cabinets specifically designed for manual cleaning. The sinks are available with fixed or adjustable height, with stainless steel or Corian® tops. They can also be equipped with an automatic system for sink filling and draining. Thus, the only manual activities left to operators are the physical brushing of the endoscope channels (as required by international guidelines) and their connection to the dedicated adapters. Our automatic endoscope-cleaning sinks grant the correct temperature, concentration, and contact time of the detergent, thus enhancing safety for both operators and patients.
