EG Series
Hot-air drying oven
The EG Series is a hot-air drying oven for porous pharmaceutical loads such as granulates, pellets and powders as well as glassware and equipment components. Recirculated, HEPA-filtered airflow and controlled temperature ramps support uniform, gentle drying and consistent GMP performance. A CIP option for the chamber and air ducts helps streamline cleaning between batches.

Hot-air drying process
- Electrical heating elements and top-mounted air recirculation fans support uniform temperature distribution throughout the chamber.
- Inlet and exhaust ducts with pre-filters and HEPA filtration help prevent cross-contamination.
- Differential pressure transmitters continuously monitor chamber pressure and filter performance.
- HEPA filter housings include fittings required for DOP integrity testing.
- Controlled air cooling via a heat exchanger using chilled or softened water
Sanitary GMP construction
Built for sanitary application in regulated environments: fully drainable designs, non-retentive surfaces and 316L stainless steel with a smooth finish. Welds are ground flush and fabrication can be documented in a complete logbook. Process-contact materials with EN 10204 traceability and USP Class VI compliant elastomers.

Filtration system
The filtration system is designed to keep particle levels low in the chamber throughout the cycle and meet pharmaceutical requirements. The filter housing minimizes thermal bridge points and mechanical stress.
Uniform air distribution
Differentially perforated walls promote uniform unidirectional airflow across the chamber and load. This supports consistent results across varied load types and geometries.
ATEX design for flammable or explosive applications
For products containing alcohol, solvents, or other flammable materials, EG can be supplied in an ATEX-compliant configuration.
