DOUBLE ISO 15883-4 & ISO 14937 COMBINATION COMPLIANCE

Prevention of multidrug-resistant healthcare-associated infections (HAI) has become a priority issue and a great challenge to clinicians.

For better control of HAI and in line with customers needs and endoscope reprocessing latest requirements, we are glad to inform you that the Automated Endoscope Disinfectors models EW 1 and EW 1 S – used in combination with SteelcoXide chemicals – can claim double conformity to:

  • High-Level Disinfection (HLD) according to EN 15883-4
  • Liquid Sterilization (LS) according to EN 14937

within the same unit, only selecting the cycle desired in the display of the machine.

A step ahead in enhancing assurance in endoscopes reprocessing, allowing the possibility to run the right cycle according to the risk analysis assessed for the specific procedure, endoscope, and patient history.

Hydrogen peroxide advantages compared to peracetic acid:

  • Longer shelf life improves products to stock and warehouse management
  • Less odor
  • Excellent material compatibility
