DHP Series

Biodecontamination air lock

The DHP Series is a validated, turnkey air lock for hydrogen peroxide vapor (HPV) biodecontamination. It is designed to support uniform vapor distribution, rapid aeration, and high throughput. This low-temperature process targets a sterility assurance level (SAL) of 10-6 for prevention of contamination.

Typical loads
Suitable for biodecontamination of a wide range of items, including:

  • Packaged single-use materials
  • Packaged drug delivery devices
  • Packaged stainless steel instruments
  • Machine parts, small stainless-steel containers
  • Electronic devices
  • Various laboratory materials made of glass or plastic

Features

Maximum safety

Designed to prioritize operator and product safety. Dual test points verify complete aeration and the absence of HPV residues, while an interlock system supports separation between clean and contained areas in barrier installations.

Precise HPV dose control

The HPV generator doses liquid hydrogen peroxide using a weighing scale, then feeds the vaporizer to generate HPV. Dose delivery is monitored by an HPV sensor to support repeatable cycles. Liquid hydrogen peroxide is supplied from an exchangeable canister accessed from the loading side, with alerts when remaining volume is insufficient.

Non-proprietary hydrogen peroxide solution

Liquid hydrogen peroxide can be sourced from the market rather than being tied to a dedicated, proprietary consumable.

Non-proprietary components

The equipment is manufactured with proven, globally available, industry-standard components rather than proprietary parts. Original spare parts can be sourced through SteelcoBelimed with appropriate documentation and traceability or directly from original manufacturers.

SteelcoBelimed equipment for pharmaceutical applications is designed and manufactured in accordance with cGMP principles and within an ISO 9001–certified quality system. All systems are developed to meet applicable international pharmaceutical regulations (FDA, EU GMP), as well as relevant electrical, EMC and safety requirements.
