Ethylene oxide low-temperature sterilizer
Low-temperature ethylene oxide (EtO) sterilizers for heat-sensitive products, designed for compliance with EN 1422. Configurations can include pre-conditioning, sterilization, and degassing chambers, with automated loading/unloading to reduce operator exposure and support efficient production flow.

Fully integrated solution
SteelcoBelimed can deliver a complete system scope, including pre-conditioning and degassing cells, the sterilization chamber, load handling automation, utilities (water/steam), and an EtO abatement system.
Safe hermetic door closure
Pneumatic clamps press the door against the chamber flange to compress the seal. Two peripheral gaskets provide redundancy if one loses integrity. The gaskets are pneumatically actuated within their grooves, and an air reservoir maintains sealing pressure in the event of a temporary loss of compressed air or power.
High productivity, low consumption
Advanced heat recovery and a closed-loop vacuum system help reduce utilities and running costs. The water-ring pump is supplied from the separator to limit water use, supporting stable cycles and high throughput.

Environmental protection and safety
Ethylene oxide is neutralized at the end of each cycle to reduce emissions and support operator and site safety. The system can be engineered to meet applicable requirements, including ATEX, UL, OSHA, NFPA, ISO 11135 and EN 1422.
Workflow optimization and load handling
Semi-automatic or fully automated pallet transfer supports smoother logistics and reduces manual handling. It improves operator safety and helps maintain throughput across different production setups.
